THIS IS THE REAL THING. FOR THE 1966 427 CORVETTE 427 425 & 450 HP ENGINE. ALSO USED IN 1967 AND ON THE CHEVROLET PASSANGER CAR HI PERFORMANCE ENGINES. DATE CODE IS 10.27.65 BUT IT IS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE INTAKE (CANNOT BE SEEN UNLESS THE INTAKE IS REMOVED). the good news is that there are no cracks, welds or heilcoils. all the threads look good. lots of there intakes have cracks and welds from torquing them down too much, this one does not. the bad news it appears that someone has cut down the plenum (it was done to increase performance in the 60's). packing, shipping and insurance in lower 48 states $35. i can send more pictures mike 510-357-5554
